Baramulla, Feb 21(KNS): One person was injured after some miscreants on Sunday set several acres of land on fire at different locations in Uri hills even as the accused persons have been identified, officials said here. 
 
Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that a person identified as Hafeez Khan a resident of Dhani Uri was injured when unknown persons set property land on fire at different locations including Bijhama, Dachi, Dawran and Dhani. 
 
They said that, however, timely intervention of the authorities contained the damage as fire was put off.  
 
Meanwhile, BMO Uri, Dr Parveez Masoodi said that they received a person with burn injures, after giving him necessary medical facility at PHC Boniyar, he was referred to GMC Baramulla for further treatment.
 
A police official, while confirming the incident said that upon receiving the information police party was rushed to the spot and the accused persons have been identified, while further investigation is going on. (KNS)
