Senior Hurriyat (M) leader and chairman of People Conference of his group, Bilal Gani Lone, was Saturday detained by police at Delhi airport as he landed there with regards to meeting with Pakistan National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz.
Sources said that Lone was detained by Delhi police at 6:45 pm today soon after he landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Bilal has gone to Delhi to meet Pakistan NSA Sartaj Aziz on the invitation of Pakistan High Commissioner.
Pertinently, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is visiting Delhi tomorrow in connection with meeting Aziz. Similarly, Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani is visiting Delhi on Monday morning for the same purpose.
