Srinagar, Jul 22 (KNS): On the second consecutive Friday, the authorities continue to bar people to offer Friday congregational prayers in the historic Jamia Masjid in old city here.
Reports said that the people especially a Mu'ezzin was not allowed to give Azaan in the Masjid for the Friday congregations.
A large contingent of police and paramilitary CRPF were deployed around Jamia Masjid to prevent people from assembling and offering Friday congregations there.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Pertinently, the people at most of the places were banned to offer Friday congregational prayers in Jamia Masjid’s situated in their respective areas. (KNS)
