On Police Commemoration Day, LG Manoj Sinha Pays Tribute to Fallen Heroes

Srinagar, Oct 21 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday paid homage to police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty, describing them as the guardians of the nation’s integrity and the safety of its citizens.

In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Sinha said, “On Police Commemoration Day, we bow our heads in homage to the memory of all police martyrs and gratefully remember those brave police personnel, who are selflessly serving to ensure the integrity of the nation and the safety of its citizens.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The Police Commemoration Day is observed annually on October 21 to honour the sacrifices made by police personnel across the country. The day marks the valour of ten CRPF jawans who died fighting Chinese troops in 1959 at Hot Springs in Ladakh.

Across Jammu and Kashmir, police units and paramilitary forces held solemn ceremonies to remember their colleagues who died in the line of duty. (KNS).
