Bandipora, Dec 28 (KNS): A team of Drugs & Food Control Organisation, J&K on a specific telephonic complaint seized expired and over dated food items from one shopkeeper in Sumbal area in Bandipora.
According to KNS correspondent, the team seized expire commercial goods from the shop. The complaint was found justified, and samples of food times were lifted from the concerned shopkeeper for analytical purpose and send to food testing laboratory for analytical purposes.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
However, the complainant was requested to submit a written complaint as well but till this time the Department has not received the same.
It has been said by the officials that action under Food safety and standards Act will be initiated upon receiving the test report of the samples sent for analytical purposes.
Food Safety Officer in the District Yameen-ul-Nabi told KNS that further investigation is under process. (KNS)
