Srinagar, Feb 15 (KNS): On the directions of Syed Ali Geelani & despite all curbs, impediments and restriction, a high-level deputation comprising of Haji Gh. Nabi Sumji, Farooq Ahmad Shah, Mohamad Ashraf Laya, Bilal Sidiqee, Mohamad Yassin Ataie, Ab Rashid Lone, Mohamad Ramzan Khan, Kh Firdouse, Mohamad Yusuf Mir (Freedom Party), Zaheer Abas and Sajad Lone reached Kulgam and paid their tributes to martyrs and expressed solidarity with bereaved families.
Despite curfew like restrictions people assembled in Kulgam & Hurriyat leaders amidst pro-freedom slogans addressed these gatherings.
They are presenting cherished sacrifices for a sacred cause, said leaders and the martyrs put responsibility on our shoulders to carry their mission till its logical end. They said that we are duty bound to remain aloof from those activities’ that may harm the pious mission. They are our heroes, said leaders and large number people attending their funerals stand testimony that our mission is peaceful and it has nothing to do with terrorism or extremism. Meanwhile, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Geelani paid glorious tributes to Hajan & Handwara martyrs and prayed for their heavenly abode. Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep concern over such increasing incidents and said that it is outcome of rigid, inflexible and obscure approach of India.
Syed Ali Geelani in his brief statement said that no sane person on earth feels pleasure over these deadly incidents and said loss of human lives is indeed painful. However while criticizing the rulers in Delhi, Hurriyat Chairman said that they are blood thirsty and it is their arrogance of power that they were never serious to understand and resolve the vexed issue relating to Jammu and Kashmir. This state of sick mindedness is proving extremely detrimental & this approach has escalated the uncertainty in the region, said Syed Ali Geelani. Hurriyat Chairman advised & asked Indian authorities to desist from stubborn attitude, use wisdom and help to solve this long pending issue. (KNS)
