Srinagar, June 13 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has criticized the international community’s silence over Israel’s recent military actions against Iran, drawing parallels to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and highlighting the growing unease among people in Kashmir.
According to KNS correspondent,speaking to the media, Abdullah said, “Today, Israel did what Russia did in Ukraine. But when Israel attacks Iran, these powers—whether it's America, Europe, or anyone else—become silent.” He questioned the justification behind the strike, saying, “As far as I know, Iran didn’t give any reason to be attacked. He also reacted to a tragic incident involving a Dreamliner aircraft, which reportedly fell from the sky within a minute in Ahmedabad. “One passenger has died. The rest were luckily saved. We still don’t know if any doctors or students were onboard. Unfortunately, this aircraft—the Dreamliner—had never had an accident before,” he noted.
Expressing solidarity, he added, “We stand with the families of the incident victims . We hope this incident is investigated thoroughly and that such tragedies do not happen again.” (KNS)
