Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti appointed INDIA bloc's coordination committee members

 Srinagar, Sept 01 (KNS): Former chief ministers Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti were on Friday appointed as members of coordination committee and election strategy committee of INDIA bloc, an alliance of around 28 Opposition parties.

As per details available with Kashmir News Service (KNS), the alliance bloc today formed 5 committees after holding 2-days meeting in Mumbai to discuss future course of action including contesting the Lok Sabha elections together. 

The opposition bloc has alsi appointed Justice (retd.) Hasnain Masoodi as member of the campaign committee.

The alliance bloc has also appointed National Conference's Ifra Jan and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti's daughter Iltija Mufti as members of  the  working group for social media.

As per the details, NC's Tanvir Sadiq and PDP's Mohit Bhan have been appointed as members of the working group for media, while NC's Imran Nabi Dar and PDP's advocate Aditya have been appointed as members of the working group for research. (KNS)
