Hurriyat (M) expects OIC’s Foreign Ministers meeting would resolve K-dispute

Srinagar, Oct 14 (KNS): Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General, Iyad Bin Amin Madani has invited Hurriyat (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to attend the 43rd meeting of its Foreign Ministers at Uzbekistan on October 18 and 19.
However, the incarcerated Hurriyat (M) Chairman, who is under detention and solitary confinement for the past month-and-a-half, at a sub jail and was under house arrest before that since July 8, 2016, as a consequence would not be able to attend the meeting. Besides his passport and travel documents have also been impounded by the Government since the last four years.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Hurriyat (M) said that Hurriyat expects the OIC’s Foreign Ministers meeting would substantially work towards influencing the GOI to immediately stop the atrocities and extreme oppression being carried out against the people of J&K, and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations resolutions passed on it or through meaningful engagement among the stakeholders.
