Bandipora, Aug 20 (KNS) : In a significant step towards strengthening the business community, the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the Trade Federation Bandipora Town was held today at the Town Hall Bandipora. The event was attended by a large gathering of traders, civil society members, and representatives from various unions.

Ali Mohammad took charge as the President while Mehraj ud Din assumed office as the General Secretary of the federation. The oath of office was administered by Advocate Aadil Jan, who praised the federation for its role in addressing the concerns of the local business community.

The ceremony witnessed the participation of several prominent organisations, including the Pensioners’ Union, Pharmaceutical Union, Lab Association, and members of the civil society. In his first address as President, Ali Mohammad expressed his commitment to transforming the market environment in Bandipora. “We will work tirelessly to bring positive change and make Bandipora market a symbol of cleanliness and discipline in the entire valley,” he said. The sentiment was echoed by other federation members and representatives from allied organisations who pledged their full support to this vision.
