Srinagar, Dec 20 (KNS) : Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson and Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Inam Un Nabi today led a party delegation to address the long-pending issue of the NTPHC building at Khanpeth Singpora, Pattan, which has remained incomplete for the last six years.
The delegation included AIP Pattan Constituency Incharge Mohammad Akbar, senior leaders Prof. Naseer Ahmad Rather, Ajaz Ahmad Lone (PRO, MP Baramulla Office), youth leader Omar Gujree and Abrar Rashid. Residents of Khanpeth Singpora apprised the delegation about the prolonged delay in completion of the Health Department building, highlighting the difficulties faced by the local population due to the absence of proper healthcare infrastructure.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Inam Un Nabi said the matter was immediately taken up with the Health Department in a meeting attended by representatives of Khanpeth Singpora. The authorities assured that construction work will resume once weather conditions improve and further conveyed that the building is targeted to be completed by June 2026.
Meanwhile, Inam Un Nabi expressed gratitude to Commissioner Secretary Health Dr. Syed Abid Rashid, Director Health Services Kashmir Dr. Jehangir Bakhshi and Deputy Director Health Irfan Ahmad Giri for their cooperation and assurance and said AIP will continue to follow up the issue until the facility is made fully functional for public use.(KNS)
