Srinagar, Sep 28 (KNS): Accusing Power Development Department (PDD) for ignoring their plights, the residents of Noorbagh Baghwanpora area of Srinagar here have demanded complete redressal of their genuine grievances.
Inhabitants of Norrbagh, Baghwanpora areas of Srinagar told KNS over phone that they are reeling under darkness from last mid-night due to the non-availability of electricity in their areas.
“We are facing immense hardships since last night as the department has failed to provide electricity in their areas. We appealed the PDD officials to take necessary steps in this regard but unfortunately, the department has failed to do so thereby leaving people to suffer,” they said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
They said that there are couple of patients having Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who needs at least oxygen for at least 18 hours in a day but due to the non-availability of electricity the health condition of the patients are getting deteriorating.
They later appealed Chief Engineer PDD, Bashir Ahmad Khan to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievance at earliest. (KNS)
