Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): Former MLA and Apni Party District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh on Monday visited Goori Hanji Mohalla at Tengpora-Bakhshipora where he listened to the pleas of the locals.

The officials from Kashmir Irrigation And Flood Control Department alongwith concerned corporator Ward Mujgund Shahzad Ahmad Bhat was also present during the inspection.

Noor Mohammad Sheikh said that the breached spots need to be mended at an earliest so that there remains no threat to the vulnerable locals.

While visiting the bund, the officials showed the spots where repairs were already carried out and protection of the bund was kept intact.

Expressing satisfaction over the work, Sheikh further urged the officials to maintain vigil and put forth necessary repairs wherever required.

On this occasion, numerous locals also met with the party leader and expressed their grievances before him.

Sheikh assured them to raise their woes before competent authorities in order to resolve the issues without any delay. (KNS)
