Urges authorities to construct public convenience facility along highway

Baramulla, Jan 14 (KNS): People commuting on Srinagar-Baramulla highway on a daily basis have expressed anguish over absence of public conveniences along the highway, thereby making them suffer immensely.    

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) they said commuters from north Kashmir areas including Kupwara, Handwara, Sopore, Uri and Baramulla travel on a daily basis on this highway but lack of public conveniences makes them suffer immensely. 

They said government has been spending crores of funds on Swachh Bharat Scheme, however, the authorities have failed to construct even a single public convenience facility along this long stretch. 

They said many people including women and patients travel on this route on a daily basis and having a toilet facility is a must on this highway.

They appealed to the authorities to look into the matter for the benefit of general public. (KNS) 

General Public particularly patients, ladies  traveling from different areas suffer due to the lack of toilet or a washrooms on the highway he said.

People from North Kashmir appealed to the LG Administration for immediate response into the matter (KNS)
