Srinagar, Mar 04 (KNS): Reacting over the reports of appointment of pro-freedom leader, Syed Ali Geelani’s grandson in SKICC, the opposition political parties Saturday said that he has every right to seek job.
Talking to KNS, NC General Secretary, Ali Muhammad Sagar said, “I believe that there is no difference between a citizen and citizen. I don’t think that there is any problem in it as Geelanis’ grandson has every right to seek job.”
He said that if Anees Shah, grandson of Geelani has been appointed after a proper procedure then there is nothing wrong in it. “But, if any candidate or some other person is complaining over his appointment then the government must look into the issue and should find out the facts,” Sagar said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) president and MLA Khansahib, Hakeem Muhammad Yasin told KNS that there is no need to politicize the issue. “If the appointment has been made on merit basis then the issue must not be politicized,” he said.
He said that every citizen of JK has a right to seek job. “Geelani’s grandson has every right to seek job in the government department. If he has been appointed on the merit basis then the issue must not be politicized,” he said. (KNS)
