Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): Stating that there was no comparison between 2010 and 2016 agitations, former Chief Minister and acting president of National Conference (NC), Omar Abdullah Tuesday said that he didn’t blame anyone for 2010 unrest that took place during his tenure.
Speaking on the second day of budget session 2017 in Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly, Omar said, “During my tenure in 2010, I never blamed anyone for killings and triggering unrest. But in 2016, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti lamed parents for killing their children.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
He said, “We can't compare 2010 situation with 2016. I never blamed officers for 2010 but in everyone was attacked including the media and the Newspaper offices were also raided.”
Blaming Mehbooba for failing to restore normalcy in Kashmir, Omar said, “She blamed everyone including Jawahar Lal Nehru, my father, my grandfather and police (for giving birth to militancy in the state). I want to ask her that did she ever blame herself for her failure in restore normalcy in Kashmir.?” (KNS)
