Srinagar, Mar 18 (KNS): A day after police filed charge-sheet against six accused for killing police official, Altaf Ahmad Dar in Bandipora court, militant outfit, Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) Fridaysaid that there is no involvement of any civilian in the killing of Altaf.
In a statement issued to KNS, LeT chief, Mehmood Shah said Showkat Hakeem, Mehraj-ud-Din and others, who were booked by police for their involvement in the killing of Altaf, “are innocents as the police SI was killed by slain LeT commander Abu Qasim in Bandipora in October last year.”
“Abu Qasim executed the killing on his own without any assistance of any civilian.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelQasim was an expert in carrying out such operations,” Shah said.
Meanwhile, LeT paid tributes to the militants who were killed since past several days in the Valley.
Police on Thursday filed a charge sheet into the killing of Police Sub Inspector Altaf Ahmed Dar, in Bandipora court against six accused among them include Showkat Ahmad Hakeem, Mehraj-u-din, Mohd Younis Khanday and Manzoor Ahmad Parray, all residents of Hajin, Bandipora. (KNS)
