Srinagar, March 15 (KNS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday raided a residential house in Wangipora village of Sumbal in North Kashmir's Bandipora district in connection with the Handwara narco-militancy case.
Sources told KNS that sleuths of NIA accompanied by CRPF and local police raided a residential house of Showkat Ahmad Parray son of Abdul Salaam Parray, a resident of Wangipora village in Sumbal.
Sources said that Showkat is currently facing detention regarding the Handwara narco-militancy case.
A top police official also confirmed that a raid is underway in the village.
