Srinagar, June 06 (KNS): The government Monday said that health workers and doctors engaged under National Health Mission (NHM) cannot be regularized as per the scheme guidelines.
“As per the guidelines of National Health Mission (NHM), the services of NHM manpowers are hired purely on contractual basis and their contracts are being renewed every year after appraisal of the performance,” Minister for health and medical education Bali Bhagat said in reply to separate written questions of Congress MLA Usman Majeed and BJP MLA Daleep Parihar.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The two legislators had asked whether the government plans to regularize the services of the workers engaged under NHM.
The minister said that NHM guidelines do not provide for regularization of such contractually engaged workers. (KNS)
