Srinagar, Oct 23 (KNS): Strongly condemning the arrest of Employee’s leader and suspending EJAC president Abdul Qayoom Wani, senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan today said that present regime has set new records of dictatorship and tyranny.
In a statement issued to KNS, Nayeem Khan warned the so called government of dire consequences if failed to read writing on the wall and shun the path of dictatorship. “First twelve employees were sacked and now EJAC president has been placed under suspension, this only indicates how cruel the present regime is and how far it can go to please its masters in New Delhi and Nagpur,” Khan said.
He said that the so called government and its masters are trying everything to kill and crush the freedom sentiment of Kashmiri people however it is sure to fail in its efforts like its predecessors. “So called political stalwarts could not defeat the freedom sentiment of Kashmiri people even they too had used every sort of oppression and suppression so the present regime should learn a lesson from the continuous resistance of the people including the government employees who are part and parcel of our society and the freedom struggle,” Khan said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that tyranny, oppression, dictatorship, autocracy and coercion cannot make the people of Kashmir to surrender before the military might of India so the stooges of New Delhi must shun the path of suppression.
Nayeem Khan expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of incarcerated JKLF chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik and condemned his and other leader’s continuous detention.“Detentions, incarcerations, creating fake cases, ransacking, pellets and shelling cannot make the people of Kashmir to rethink on their demand of right to self determination. “People will continue to press for their genuine political demand till the goal is achieved,” Khan said.
