Bandipora 29 April (KNS): Following the alarming surge in Covid-19 cases in the Bandipora, the District administration decided to turn the new DH Bandipora hospital into COVID centre.

 

Hospital authorities said only Covid emergency surgeries would be performed at the hospital, while as old hospital building will serve as a general hospital, authorities said.

 

Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Bandipora, Dr Basheer Ahmad told KNS that New District hospital will function as COVID hospital for COVID patient and  have closed all OPD's and general operations here at District Hospital Bandipora to be utilised for COVID patients and OPD will be functional at Old hospital Bandipora."

 

"At present, we have an adequate supply of oxygen and other requirements with COVID patients", said Dr Bashir Ahmad (KNS)
