Poonch, Jul 26 (KNS): Pitching for need of better mobile connectivity in Jhulas and Saujiyan areas closed to Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, Provincial President of Youth National Conference today requested Governor administration to take steps for installation of mobile towers in these areas besides conducting an audit of health sector in the border district where shortage of doctors is leading to severe problems.
He was addressing in a workers meeting of National Conference held at Poonch district headquarters which was attended by NC cadre from across the area.
In his address, Youth NC Provincial President Ajaz Jan as per the statement issued to KNS said that areas close to Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, especially Saujiyan and Jhulas, are lacking mobile telephony communication which is affecting normal lives badly and there is urgent need of installation of mobile towers in consultation with army authorities to keep security of LoC areas on priority.
He further highlighted the issue pertaining to repairing of power line of Poonch which was damaged in 2014 floods and previous state government remained on failure side to carry out necessary repairs in the same.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Alongwith this, Ajaz Jan also highlighted about losses of property due to heavy rainfall in last one week and demanded Governor administration for constituting teams of loss assessment so that compensation is disbursed in fair manner.
Interacting with party's block presidents, Jan asked them to hold monthly block meetings to ensure that contact programme with party cadre is given a boost.
He further demanded personal intervention of Governor of Jammu and Kashmir in ailing health sector of state and appealed for an audit to examine staff posted in health institutions of the district with main emphasis on shortage of doctors.
