Addressing a mammoth gathering of party workers, national conference president Dr Farooq Abdulla said that his party will continue to work for the political stability and restoration of peace in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that power never mattered for NC rather it worked as a channel for the overall development of the state.
Recalling the sacrifices offered by the NC Dr Farooq Abdulla said that NC has offered priceless sacrifices for the unity, brotherhood, development and identity of Jammu and Kashmir. Highlighting the importance of indo Pak dialogue NC president Dr Farooq said that both the countries must restore the dialogue process so that friendly ties between the two countries can be strengthened. He said that growing hatred and anguish between the two countries jeopardises peace and stability .He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir suffer the most on account of the enmity between the two countries.
