‘Tak will be remembered for the contribution’

Srinagar, Nov 05 (KNS): The National Conference (NC) leaders from South Kashmir including its president, Sakina itoo, senior Vice President Perzada Gh Ahmad Shah, Ex MLC Dr Bashir A Veeri, Ab Majid Larmi MLA HSB, Ab Kabir Pathan & other senior leaders condoled the demise of senior political worker of Bijbehara town, Gh Qadir Tak who passed away in the wee hours of Saturday morning at his ancestral home.
While paying tributes to deceased leader, the leaders said that late Tak will be remembered for the contribution during elections in the success of National conference from 1977 to 1987, where on the one side he would aspire for party mandate and once party would decide candidature he would join him as a front runner to make him successful.
They said that late Tak was a selfless and forward looking person always at the beck and call of poor and downtrodden people of his area.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“In his loss a void has been created which will haunt the people associated with departed leader,” they said.
Condolence on behalf of Dr Farooq Abdullah party president and Omar Abdullah working president was conveyed to the members of the family.
Another condolence meeting of South Kashmir unit of JKNC was held separately at the residence of Dr Veeri at Khanabal Anantnag in which Sakina itoo, Ab Majid Larmi, Peerzada shah, Dr Veeri and other leaders paid tributes and prayed for peace to the departed soul and also for the people left behind to bear the irreparable loss.
Prominent among others were Mohd Shafi Shah DPNC Anantnag, Safdar Beg, G R Raina, Farooq Khan, Dr Rafiq Kochak, Ali Mohd, Gh Haider Shah & others. (KNS)
