Jammu, Feb 08 (KNS): National Conference Provincial president Jammu and MLA Nagrota Devender Singh Rana here on Thursday demanded hike in the honorarium of Anganwari workers and helpers and resolution of the long pending issues concerning other backward classes.
According to the KNS correspondent, raising the demands during zero hour, NC MLA from Nagrota Devender Singh Rana said that the honorarium of Anganwari workers and helpers has not been hiked for a very long time and should be increased immediately. Replying to the demands raised by NC MLA from Nagrota Devender Singh Rana, the Social Welfare Minister Sajad Lone told the house that honorarium of Anganwari workers and helpers will be enhanced as and when central government releases funds for the same. He also assured that pending issues concerning other backward classes will be looked into and prompt actions will be taken to address the issues right in the earnest. (KNS)
