Banihal Dec 16 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Ramban Unit has expressed grave concern over the implementation of Food Security Act, saying this is detrimental to the interests of rartionees, as a large chunk of population will be deprived of much need rations through CAPD outlets.

Sharing the concern of the workers, District President Sajjad Shaheen said that the PDP-BJP coalition government was insensitive to the aspirations of the people and its ill-conceived policies are aggravating their problems.
He said the people of the entire district have been put to hardships on account of new ration cards as the concerned agency has least connect with the stake holders.
The District President also referred to the dilapidated condition of road network in rural areas and said non-maintenance has made most of these unworthy for traffic and this is going to cause numerous problems to the people living in far-flung and remote areas, especially during the ongoing winter season.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe also expressed distress over erratic power and drinking water supply, saying the government which cannot ensure basic minimum necessities to the people had no right to govern. He said the performance of the coalition government has been quite dismal during the past over nine and half months and the developmental process in particular has come to grinding halt.
Shaheen said National Conference will continue to highlight problems faced to the people and raise these in every forum to get immediate redressal. (KNS)
