Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): National Conference legislator from Pahalgam Mohammad Altaf Wani Sunday protested against his “missing” name from the nameplate during a plantation drive in health resort, Pahalgam that was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Wani claimed that the missing nameplate might be a political intervention from Peoples Democratic Party , “which does not digest my win from Pahalgam even today.”

The NC MLA said that while nameplates of all the ministers and officials were already erected at the spots where they had to plant trees. “But, surprisingly, my nameplate was not made available. Only when I protested, the forest officials erected at the spot where I planted the sapling,’’ he said. (KNS)
