NC Leader Imran Shah Welcomes PMAY Housing Project, Calls for Relief, Redevelopment and Tourism Push in Anantnag


Anantnag, Sept 28 (KNS): Welcoming the government’s decision to construct 5,000 houses under PMAY in Jammu and Kashmir, senior Nationals Conference leader and Vice District President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his efforts toward public welfare. Shah termed the initiative a great relief for those who suffered due to the recent floods in J&K and expressed hope that more steps will follow for the redevelopment of severely affected areas.

Highlighting the losses suffered by Anantnag town and the trading community in particular, Shah stressed the need for compensation and called for a comprehensive plan to prevent such damage in the future.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Shah during his visit to Dangerpora, Anantnag, he urged the government to expedite the developmental process in these areas. He also pressed for the development of the famous Sherbagh stream on modern lines up to Mehandi Kadal, with the aim of bringing it onto the tourism map.

Imran shah appealed to the district administration to take urgent steps for upgrading the drainage system, along with repair and macadamization of inner roads before the onset of winter.
