Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): Senior People Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Member of Legislative Council (MLC), Yasir Reshi Tuesday blamed National Conference (NC) for instigating violence during last five months of unrest.
On the second day of state legislative assembly, Reshi said, “NC has played major role in instigating violence during the last five months of unrest in the Valley.”
He said that the sons of lower rung leaders of NC were involved in stone pelting. “They were also pelting stones on the cavalcade of PDP leaders,” he said.
Reshi said that it is NC who killed several Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and did several other related things.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“PDP extended support to NC-Cong regime during 2010 in normalizing the situation but at this time they are disrupting everything in this session,” he said.
He said that he salute the grave of former Chief Minister, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed as he always supported the dialogue process. “After Mufti Sahab’s appeal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Pakistan with an aim to strengthen the relation between the two neighbouring countries,” he said. (KNS)
