Party bats for strong opposition: Sagar

Srinagar, May 24 (KNS): National Conference (NC) on Tuesday held Legislative party meeting, which was presided by NC patron Dr Farooq Abdullah.
NC general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar told KNS that the party n a meeting to decided to do strong opposition in the assembly, slated to be start from Wednesday.
He said, “Current regime which claimed about the good governance failed on ground as since the dispensation took over in the state, they raised several controversial issues, which can dilute the special status of the state,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the party will raise several issues in the assembly including continuous attacks by government on Article 370, NFSA, NEET, youth joining militancy, separate colonies for KP’s, Power project, AFSPA, Handwara incident, and several other day to day problesm faced by the people.
Meanwhile, all the NC leaders excluding NC president and former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah were present in the meeting. (KNS)
