Batote, Apr 08 (KNS): National Conference District Unit Ramban on Saturday expressed concern over deteriorating security situation and developmental inertia in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The PDP-BJP government has plunged the state into unprecedented crisis which has resulted in deaths and human sufferings across the Valley”, District President Sajjad Shaheen said while addressing people, as part of party’s Mass Contract Programme at Batote block of district Ramban, and expressed solidarity with the suffering people.
He also blamed the coalition for failing on all fronts, especially the development thus pushing the state to backwards. He particularly referred to erratic power supply and scarcity of drinking water, saying these basic services needed priority attention.
Speaking on the occasion, former MLC and Provincial Vice President Brij Mohan Sharma assailed the government for growing unemployment, failure in providing salaries to different segments of employees timely and delays in regularization of daily rated workers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said the government has betrayed the people and all the promises made during elections have proven hoax.
Former MLA and Provincial Vice President Dr Chaman Lal also addressed the meeting and expressed concern over developmental paralysis besides administrative inertia, which have added to the problems of the people, especially living in remote and backward areas of the state.
On the occasion, several youths of the area joined National Conference.
