Anantnag, Oct 07 (KNS): The sitting MLAs of National Conference and Congress on Saturday protested against the Food and Supplies department for issuing licenses to fair price shop dealers.
The four legislators including Altaf Kolu, Advocate Majid Larmi, Gulzar Wani and Amin Bhat visited the Assistant Director’s office here to meet the officials here against the issuance of licenses to fair price shop dealers.

They have given ultimatum to the department, asking them to come clear over the issue.
The legislators also threatened to disturb board meetings to be held on 12th of this month.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Syed Shabir reached to the spot and tried to give assurances to all the legislators and promised them that all their demands will be looked into. (KNS)
