Srinagar, Apr 24 (KNS): After being released from long house detention, Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, and Hurriyat leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan Sunday went to the residence of the deputy chairman of United Jihad Council, Mohammad Iqbal Kotwal, alias Usman Kotwal, in Islamabad to condole the sad demise of his mother.
Mohammad Iqbal Kotwal’s mother passed away some days back after a prolonged illness.
Paying tributes to the deceased soul, Khan in a statement issued to KNS said that she tolerated all sorts of Indian atrocities with patience and steadfastness.
He praised the contribution of Kotwal family toward the freedom struggle.
Khan said that the deceased waited for her son however, the Kashmir dispute is continuously taking toll of the basic party of the dispute where mothers and fathers had to pass away in the absence of their kith and kin.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Praying for the forgiveness and eternal peace of the deceased soul, Khan remembered those hundreds of mothers who passed away without seeing their sons.
He paid tributes to all those mothers who left this world without meeting their sons.
Meanwhile, National Front chairman leading a party delegation went to see senior resistance leaders Altaf Ahmad Matoo and Shabir Ahmad Dar. People’s League leader Altaf Ahmad and Muslim Conference chairman Shabir Ahmad Dar are undergoing treatment after their illness. Nayeem Ahmad Khan prayed for their quick recovery. (KNS)
