Srinagar, Apr 16 (KNS): Terming the killing of five unarmed civilians and injuring dozens at the hands of the men in uniform in Kupwara district, as revenge from Kashmiris for their pro-freedom stance Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman and Hurriyat leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has appealed international brethren to come to the rescue of oppressed Kashmiri people.
“Kashmiri people are the victims of the so called Indian ‘national interest’ and Hindu fascism, so international community must take a strong note of the civilian killings in Kashmir to stop New Delhi and its local collaborators from further killings,” Nayeem Ahmad Khan said in his appeal during his continuous house detention.He termed the latest killings and restrictions on common people as a blot on so called Indian democracy, and said that it was high time for Indian civil society to come out against the New Delhi’s atrocities in Kashmir.Lashing out at the so called state administration for killing unarmed Mohammad Iqbal, Nayeem Qadir, Jehangir Ahmad, Raja Begum and Aarif Hussain, in Handwara areas Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that such killings are aimed at taking revenge from Kashmiri people for their pro-freedom activities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelNayeem Ahmad Khan expressed deep anguish over the latest killing spree and said that the men in uniform are enjoying utmost freedom to kill and harm Kashmiri Muslims so that the Indian fascist forces are satisfied.
Rejecting the state sponsored so called enquiry commission, Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that such commissions are constituted to conceal facts and pave safe passage for culprits involved in the brutal killings. “The only compensation of such killings is a complete demilitarization of Jammu Kashmir so that people living in this disputed region can enjoy right to self determination in a free and fare atmosphere,” Nayeem Ahmad Khan said during his continuous house detention. He said that latest killing spree in north Kashmir followed by restrictions in Srinagar and other parts of the valley speaks volumes about the situation in Kashmir.
Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that such incidents are not tolerable to Kashmiri people and brave people living in the disputed region will raise their voice against such inhuman crimes of the Indian occupied forces and their collaborators. (KNS)
