National Front Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has strongly criticised national media and selected writers who allegedly try to distort the history of the state and malign the people of Kashmir.
Reacting sharply to the propaganda unleashed by some authors through their books, Khan in a statement to KNS said, “Recently several books released in India are aimed to malign the Kashmiri people. An Indian author and a journalist, Ajit Chak after September 2014 floods released his two books ‘Kashmir Storm’ and ‘Born in La Martiniere’. These books are an attempt to malign the Kashmiri people as there was no such commando unit in existence then as mentioned in ‘Born in La Martiniere’ and it has been done to create a bad image of Kashmiri Muslims.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
Before leaving for New Delhi to participate in Eid Milan at the Pakistan High Commission, he said, “We strongly condemn the act of the principal of Lucknow La Martiniere College for having a book release function and promoting such an attempt to rewrite the history of the 1971 war.
“This is a most irresponsible act by an academician. Prostitution is not a way of life in Kashmir and is anti-Islamic. The author is trying to give the impression that there is rampant prostitution in Kashmir through his book ‘Kashmir storm’,” he said.
