Srinagar, Apr 3 (KNS): Stressing upon youth to follow the religious path, Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman and Hurriyat leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan Sunday expressed serious concern over the youth falling into drug addiction and mysterious missing of children in the valley.
Khan was on a day long visit to Pattan area where he met various delegations of senior citizens and youngsters.
In a statement issued to KNS, spokesman said that Khan was hurt to know that many youth have fallen prey to drug addiction which is encouraged by the Indian occupied forces in nook and corner though indirectly.
He appealed the parents to keep a close vigil on their wards so that they get immediate information about their bad habits and unhealthy activities.
“This is the foremost duty of parents so ensure a noble atmosphere to their children by developing noble virtues among themselves and around,” Khan said adding “Parents cannot be forgiven if any of our youths gets spoiled due to different bad habits.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
Khan however, stressed upon youth to adhere the path of religion so as to get rid of the day today problems. “Islam is the only solution to our problems, and adopting a religious way of life gives you immense satisfaction,” Khan said.
He expressed serious concern over the mysterious missing of kids.
He said that dead body of such a kid was recovered in mysterious conditions only yesterday. He said that religious preachers, social activists and senior citizens have to play an important role in curbing the crime in the society.
He expressed concern over the growing intolerance in India which has resulted in targeting the minorities. He strongly condemned the beating of local students by non locals at NIT Srinagar recently.
Khan said that this incident has proved that intolerance of Indian citizens reaches where ever they reach and they exhibit it shamelessly. (KNS)
