Ganderbal, Sep 17 (KNS): Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar today visited Ganderbal to review ongoing development works.
In a statement issued to KNS that said he visited under construction 200 bedded District Hospital along with DD
C Ganderbal and directed JKPCC to immediately resume work at the site. He assured immediate release of funds for the purpose and directed the executing agency to complete the balance works during the current year. He also directed R&B Department to submit a detailed proposal for widening of Nagbal Beehama Road. Directions for acquisition of land required for construction of approach road to bus Adda were also given to the concerned authorities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The Minister in an interaction with the representatives of civil society and senior citizens, appealed for maintaining calm. The Minister reiterated the need for maintaining supply of essential items and directed District Administration to ensure availability of essential commodities in the district. He directed School Education Officers to take immediate steps for reopening of schools.
Among others SP Ganderbal, CPO Ganderbal, SE R&B, CEO Ganderbal and all other District Officers were present on the occasion. (KNS)
