Karnah, Jan 25 (KNS) The 11th National Voters Day was celebrated in border town Karnah on Monday with great enthusiasm.

   To mark the occassion, a programme was organized at GDC Tangdar. Senior Assistant Professor Dr. Parvaiz Ahmad  was the chief guest on the occasion who made the students aware about their right to vote and advised the students to actively participate in the electoral process and get their names registered in the voters list, if not registered yet.While speaking on the occasion Dr. Parvaiz Ahmad highlighted the role of participation of every voter in a healthy democracy. In the programme numbers of students and faculty of the college were present. 

   Meanwhile the National Voters Day was observed at Government girls higher secondry School Tangdar with the motive of making the voters about the importance of their vote. Principal of the School, who was chief guest on the occassion threw light on the importance of the day and urged the students for making proper use of their votes in order to elect proper candidates for good health of the Nation.(KNS)
