Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): The 300-km long Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, the only link road that connects Kashmir with the rest of country, remained closed for the second consecutive day on Friday due to landslides triggered by snowfall.
Traffic from both sides was not allowed to ply on the National Highway as precautionary measures due to the landslides triggered at several places on the highway due to snowfall, a traffic police spokesman told KNS.
“We are clearing the stranded vehicles; no fresh vehicles would be allowed to start their journey from either side of the Jammu-Srinagar highway," he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
