Jammu, Feb 02 (KNS): As the budget session begins, National Conference leader and MLA from Sopore, Irshad Rasool Kar, stated that the government has largely stood by its promises and is working to fulfill them.
Speaking to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), the legislator acknowledged that people hold expectations for every budget.
He said, "The government has tried its best to fulfill the promises made under its progressive, pro-people agenda."
Kar also emphasized the importance of honoring these commitments and making optimal use of time, a point he noted was also underscored by the Speaker in the parliamentary democracy.
The remarks come as the administration prepares to present its budget for the upcoming fiscal year. (KNS)
