Srinagar, June 15 (KNS): At a massive delegates' convention in Srinagar, National Conference delegates on Wednesday unanimously re-elected Senior Party Leader Nasir Aslam Wani as the party’s Provincial President for Kashmir Province. The delegates’ session for the election was presided over by NC Working President Omar Abdullah and convened by Party General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar.
The delegates’ session was also attended by Senior Party Leaders including NC Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Senior Leaders Abdul Rahim Rather, Mohammad Shafi Uri, Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan, Mian Altaf Ahmed, Mubarak Gul, Sakina Ittoo, Mir Saifullah, Peer Mohammad Afaq, Irfan Ahmed Shah, Javed Ahmed Dar, Shameema Firous, Mohammad Sayeed Akhoon, Provincial Secretary Advocate Showkat Ahmed Mir, State Spokesperson Junaid Azim Mattu, Provincial Youth President Salman Ali Sagar, Party Legislators and Senior Office Bearers including District Presidents and Block Presidents.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Party’s Election Convener and General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar announced the conclusion of the election process and declared Nasir Aslam Wani’s unanimous re-election as the Party’s Provincial President for Kashmir in the presence of all delegates.
NC Working President Omar Abdullah congratulated Nasir Aslam Wani on his re-election and expressed confidence in his efforts to consolidate the party’s strength at the grassroots level. Omar Abdullah asked the party office bearers and delegates to work hard to strengthen the party and serve the people of the State.
Omar Abdullah also highlighted the role of various party leaders and their untiring efforts throughout the membership and election process.
