Bandipora, May 25 (KNS) : Prominent social and public figure Naseer Ahmad Mir on Monday hailed the visit of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to Bandipora, stating that the anti-drug campaign launched under his leadership will play a vital role in eradicating the menace of drugs from society.
Speaking during the historic Padyatra organised in Bandipora as part of the ongoing anti-drug movement, Naseer Ahmad Mir appreciated the efforts of the Lieutenant Governor for taking a strong stand against narco-terrorism and drug abuse in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the LG administration has started a great mission against drugs and stressed that every section of society must support this initiative to save the younger generation from the devastating impact of addiction.

Naseer Ahmad Mir joined the Padyatra along with hundreds of supporters and local residents, reflecting massive public support for the campaign. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, civil society members and people from different areas of Bandipora, sending a strong message against drug abuse.
He further said that such initiatives not only spread awareness but also strengthen the resolve of society to stand united against the growing drug menace. (KNS)
