Kupwara, Aug,12 (KNS) Narcotics, arms and ammunition were recovered in large quantity by security forces in Hajitra village of Karnah along the line of control in north kashmir's Kupwara district on Thursday

Official source told Kashmir News service (KNS) that acting upon a intelligence inputs security forces launched a search operation in Hijitra village of Karnah sector along the LoC.

"During the search security forces recovered narcotics and war-like stores near a govt school which include 15 granades, 5 pistols,  3 detonators, 150 rounds of pistol, 1 packet of narcotics and a plastic bag, " they said. 

Further investigation initiated by the police the added.(KNS)
