Srinagar, August 15(KNS): Former deputy chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Muzaffar Baig Sunday said that the demise of renowned religious personality and prominent Gujjar leader, Mian Bashir Ahmed Larvi, is a huge loss to the society as the deceased was always at the forefront of working for the downtrodden sections of the society.

In his message, he said that "I am deeply saddened by the news of his loss! The departed soul will be in my prayers. May God be with you in your grief. My hearty condolences for your tremendous loss, " he said.  He futher said that the deceased was always at the forefront of working for the downtrodden sections of the society.

"I express my sincere sympathies with whole Mian family, including his son Mian Altaf Ahmad, " he added. 

Renowned religious personality and prominent Gujjar leader, Mian Bashir Ahmed Larvi, also known as Baba Ji, passed away here on Saturday. He was 98

The deceased was widely respected and prominently followed across Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country for his religious and spiritual teachings(KNS).
