Throwing light over the various facets of life of fourth Caliph of Islam on his martyrdom anniversary, Hazrat Ali (KW), Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday said the Muslims should emulate the teachings and path shown by the great caliph.
Addressing a gathering at Hazrat Peer Dastgir Sahib (RA) at Saraibala, Mirwaiz stated Hazrat Ali (KW) spent his entire life defending and spreading the message of Islam and that of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He said that his life would inspire Muslim generations till the Day of Judgment.
The Hurriyat (M) Chairman stated that the Muslim world was suffering on social, political and economical fronts only because they have strayed away from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) (PBUH) and Khalifa-e-Rashdein.

Terming the complete resolve and commitment towards freedom struggle as inevitable to take the movement to its logical conclusion, he said the innumerable sacrifices offered by Kashmiris demand that we should bring uniformity of approach in our ranks to achieve success.
The Hurriyat (M) chairman said nations never get cowed down or forget their sacrifices, adding, nations stand like rock to face any challenge and bear all sufferings to achieve their goals. Asserting that occupier was using military might to weaken the spirits of Kashmiris, Mirwaiz said peace and stability would not arrive in South Asia without solving Kashmir dispute permanently.
