Srinagar, Feb 07 (KNS): J&K Anjumam-e-Shari Shian’s Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi has lambasted the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adiytinath over his continues controversial statements, the recent one being against Muharram congregations which are held in warmth along with other communities in West Bengal .
In a statement issued to KNS, Mehdi said, “Be it using un-parliamentary language against religious figures and religious symbols it seems Yogi is only interested in spreading hatred among people at the cost of communal harmony for his petty electoral gains.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThis is sheer uncivilized behavior and goes against human norms.”
Mehdi called on Yogi Adiytanath to restrain himself otherwise his foul and controversial statements will have damaging consequences on the social fabric of the society.
“We also hope that constitutional authorities and institutions will carry a whip against such behavior which puts human cooperation to risk and can have long lasting sick effects on the upbringing of younger generations,” Mehdi added. (KNS)
