Tangmarg, Dec 17 (KNS): The Municipal Committee Tangmarg on Wednesday intervened to stop illegal construction work being carried out at The Host Hotel, officials said.

According to sources, unauthorized renovation and construction activities had reportedly been ongoing in more than ten rooms of the hotel.

Acting on the matter, the Executive Officer of Municipal Committee Tangmarg, along with senior municipal officers and staff, visited the site early this morning to inspect the premises.

During the inspection, all ongoing construction work was immediately halted. The hotel management was warned that any attempt to resume unauthorized work would result in strict action, including sealing of the premises, the officials added.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Speaking to KNS, the Executive Officer of Municipal Committee Tangmarg said that they have personally visited the site to ensure that all illegal construction work is stopped. "The hotel management has been instructed that any violation of municipal rules will be met with strict enforcement, including possible sealing of the property. We are committed to upholding the law and maintaining proper construction norms in Tangmarg.”

Officials said that follow-up inspections will be conducted to ensure compliance and prevent further unauthorized construction activities.(KNS)
