GMC Principal lauds NGO for time to time donation

Srinagar, Feb 25 (KNS): The Mumbai based NGO on Saturday installed and inaugurated the Cryofuge-5500I at GB Pant Children's Hospital in Srinagar.
Cryofuge-5500I is a Cell Separator which facilitates formation of Fresh Frozen Plasma, Pack Cell and Plasma Concentrate from whole blood.
According to the statement issued to KNS, the officials said that G.B. Pant/Children Hospital has become the 3rd hospital of associated Hospitals of GMC, Srinagar to have this equipment.
“Till now the hospital was dependent on Blood Banks of other hospitals to get blood components for the patients admitted in the hospital. With the commissioning of the equipment, Blood Bank will be able to separate the blood components of the needy patients admitted in this hospital,” the officials said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
They said that the equipment is donated by Mumbai based NGO who came all the way from Mumbai to get the equipment installed/inaugurated in presence of Principal/Dean, Govt. Medical College, Srinagar, Prof. (Dr.) Kaiser Ahmad) and other Faculty members and Administration of the hospital.
Principal/Dean, GMC, Srinagar lauded the NGO for time to time donation of high-end equipments to this hospital.
Donors showed their willingness to donate more equipment to the hospital in future.
They also appreciated the efforts and cooperation of hospital administration to ensure safe arrival and commissioning of equipment donated by the organization. (KNS)
