Multi-faith delegation of IMF pays tributes to victims of Pahalgam terror attack

Pahalgam, Oct 31 (KNS): A multi-faith delegation of Indian Minorities Federation (IMF), led by its Convener and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Satnam Singh Sandhu on Thursday paid tributes to the victims of Pahalgam terror attack and prayed for peace, harmony and unity of the nation at Martyrs’ Memorial at Pahalgam.

Prominent among those present were renowned Indian actress Preeti Sapru, popular Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi, IMF Co-Founder Prof Himani Sood and multi-faith leaders from the Muslim, Hindu, Christian and Sikh communities, who together visited the Martyrs’ Memorial at Pahalgam and paid floral tributes to those who lost their lives in the tragic terror attack.

Spreading the message of communal harmony, unity and peaceful co-existence, the multi-faith delegation members said that after the cowardly Pahalgam attack, the entire nation has stood united in the face of terror like never before.

During the event, Member of Parliament Satnam Singh Sandhu along with multi-faith leaders of IMF honoured the family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, the brave pony-wala from Pahalgam who lost his life while courageously attempting to disarm a terrorist and protect tourists during the attack.

The families of other brave hearts who saved the lives of tourists during the attack, members of Pahalgam Ponywallah Association and Hotel Associations, were also honoured during the event.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Later, a Unity March was organized on the eve of National Unity Day, with participants carrying over 200 metre-long Indian National Flag to spread the message of unity, communal harmony, and national integrity. The march saw enthusiastic participation from the multi-faith delegation of the IMF along with actors Mukesh Rishi and Preeti Sapru.

Condemning the Pahalgam Terror attack, the multi-faith leaders said that the Pahalgam attackers tried to sow seeds of religious divide by asking their victims’ faith before killing them, but their divisive agenda failed and today people stand united and stronger than ever before.

Spreading the message of communal harmony and unity, the leaders and members of all faiths sent a united message to the enemies of the nation that the attempts to divide India on religious lines will be met with strong and fitting response each time.

The multi-faith leaders said that under the strong leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the New India has given a befitting reply to the perpetrators of the Pahalgam terror attack by successfully launching Operation Sindoor.

The multi-faith leaders added that the nefarious designs of the enemy to spread terror to divide the nation have failed miserably and today India stands united, stronger than ever after Pahalgam Attack.(KNS)
