Srinagar, May 24 (KNS): Dr Mohammad Hussain today assumed the charge of Tehsildar Pahalgam, Anantnag.

Dr Hussain was given a formal welcome by senior officers including Naib Tehsildars, Health Officials, Municipality Officials and other Officers for taking up reigns of administration of the Tehsil Pahalgam.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hussain impressed upon the officers to work as a team with a dedication to fulfil the aspirations of the people and enhance the quality of public service delivery. Besides accessible and responsive administration, he stressed on effective grievance redressal, transparency and accountability and sought full cooperation from the officers in this regard.

He also expressed commitment for smooth implementation of Master Plan, Land Laws and Protection and Preservation of Natural Heritage of Pahalgam.
Further, he asserted that the present Priority of the Govt is the Containment of the Spread of the Covid-19 Virus.
" As such, we shall Work together Administration and Civil society at large for defeating Covid-19. As rightly said Wearing of Masks, Maintaining Social Distance and following Covid appropriate behaviour is of utmost importance," he said according to KNS correspondent.
He stressed that the Sign and symbol of Conscious and progressive Society is the "Rule of Law". which shall be ensured at all cost for the greater cause of Public welfare and peace. 
He sought cooperation from the public for the Protection of the Natural heritage of Historical and Global Tourist Destination Pahalgam. (KNS)
